Biography


M.·.W.·. ANDREW MORGAN was born in Oxford, Lafayette County, Mississippi. He is married to the former Brigitte Hohbein. Children: Anja Rund and Samantha Morgan.


Education: BA Degree from Jackson State University

                    MA Degree from University of Maryland


RELIGIOUS: Methodist - Beverly Chapel A.M.E. Church


MILITARY SERVICE: Brother Morgan is a Vietnam veteran and retired from the US Army as a chief Legal Non-Commission officer with the Staff Judge Advocate Corps after serving in the US Army twenty Two years.


MILITARY AWARDS: Army Achievement Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, and Meritorious Service Medal. 

PROFESSIONAL: After retiring from the US Army and the Corporate , Brother Morgan pursued a career in Direct Sales and is currently an Independent Representative with World Ventures, a solid professional International Travel Company, with offices in over 28 Countries. The company’s mission is to create amazing memories by taking dream vacation at wholesale prices. As an entrepreneur, and empowerment coach Brother Morgan is using life’s experience, expertise, and training to measurably improve the financial lives of others. He has over 20 years’ experience in the business sector with marketing, sales, networking and developing a worldwide sales organization.

MASONIC AFFILIATION: Blue Lodge - Brother Morgan began his Masonic career in Pride of Giessen Lodge #63 in 1975, serving as Senior Deacon, Senior Warden, President of the Golden Fleece Masonic Study Club, before he was elected Worshipful Master, serving in this position for three consecutive years. In October 2013, Brother transferred his membership to the Pride of West Palm Beach #447, located in West Palm Beach, Florida. In April 2015, Brother Morgan became a charter member of Anthony T. Stafford Military Lodge #16, located in the Kaiserslautern Military Community, chartered at the 145th Annual Grand Communication of the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.


GRAND LODGE: Brother Morgan was appointed District Deputy Grand Master for District #9, Washington and Jurisdiction by then Grand Master Carlton B. Tucker in 1982, a position he has served honorably and with distinction until he resigned in July 2013. He was made an honorary Past Grand Master at the 99th Annual Grand Communication of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Washington, held in Fife, Washington. He was recently made an honorary Past Grand Master by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Tennessee at their Annual session in Nashville July 2015. He also in 2016 at 146th Annual Communication was again made a Honorary Past Grand Master by the Hon. MW Walter Gulley Jr. 18th Grand Master of Masons of The Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge, Most Ancient and Honorable Fraternity, Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall Affiliated, Florida and Belize, Central America, Incorporated


Scottish Rite: He has served the Rite as Thrice Potent Master, and two terms as Commander-in-Chief of Prince Hall Military Consistory #304. He received the 33rd and last degree of Masonry in Washington, D.C. in Oct 1982, as a member of the George B. Swanson Class. In 1990 Brother Morgan transferred his membership to the Northern Jurisdiction where he became a chartered member of Eureka Consistory #113 and joined the Joseph LeCount Class of 1982. He was coroneted and made a Sovereign Grand Inspector General in May 1994. He Served as Deputy of the Orient for Europe beholding to the United Supreme Council, A.A.S.R. of Freemasonry, Northern Jurisdiction of North America, Inc. from September 1993 to August 2013.


Shrine: Brother Morgan is a member of ASWAN Temple #115 where he served as Illustrious Potentate for two consecutive years. He also served as Imperial Advisor to the Desert of Western Europe, A.E.A.O.N.M.S. and currently serves as Imperial Ambassador at Large.


York Rite: Brother Morgan is a Past High Priest and Past Grand High Priest of the Holy Royal Arch Mason; He is a Past Trice Illustrious Master and a Past Grand Trice Illustrious Master of Robert J. Avery Grand Council Royal and Select Masters; and he is Past Eminent Commander and Past Eminent Grand Commander of the United Grand Commandery (Knights Templar) Washington and its Jurisdiction.


Order of the Eastern Star: He is a Past Patron of Morning Glory Chapter #35 and served as District Deputy Grand Patron for District Number Nine, Order of Eastern Star, Washington and Jurisdiction.


HEROINES OF JERICHO: He is a Past Worthy Joshua and a member of Hadesah Court #8, and he served the Grand High Court as the District Deputy Grand Joshua for District #9.


AWARDS AND RECOGNITION'S: Brother Morgan has received countless awards, proclamations and citations, most notable are the 15 District Deputy of the Year Awards from the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Washington; the Deputy of the Year from United Supreme Council; and Brother Morgan received a Service Award from Congressman Tom Delay who also made him an honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council.
